Reproductive health and emergency situations
We are pleased to invite you to an exciting meeting with an eminent specialist from UNFPA, Wilma Doedens. Wilma will give a short presentation on recent developments in how we are thinking about reproductive and sexual health in refugee situations, why we have changed our mind on how best to address the needs of such a vulnerable group, and what is holding this up. After the presentation there will be discussion and exchange of experiences facilitated by Vibeke Rasch and Siri Tellier.

About Wilma Doedens:
MD, Wilma has a specialization in Reproductive Health and a working experience which includes numerous field assignments for MSF, WHO. She has since 2002 served as a technical adviser on reproductive health in humanitarian response for UNFPA, where she provides surge capacity, training and coordinates technical guidelines e.g. the IASC guideline on Reproductive Health in Humanitarian Settings.
