WHAT DOES GLOBAL HEALTH RESEARCH DO RIGHT NOW? WHAT DOES IT NEED TO DO TOMORROW?

After a short introduction by Elizabeth Pisani, the participants are challenged to either support or disclaim the underlying hypothesis that we are (not) doing the right kind of research. The starting point for the debate are the following questions:

  • Are we doing the right kind of research?
  • Are we teaching the right stuff?
  • Are we using the right kind of research results /evidence to support policy?

There is an opportunity to raise questions or make comments. The session is open to all but registration is required.
