Annual General Assembly / Seminar with Dr. Sankoh

The key note speaker of the General Assembly is Osman Sankoh, D.Sc. Executive Director of INDEPTH Network. The topic of his speach is: "INDEPTH Network: The Role of Health and Demographic Surveillance Systems in Low- and Middle-Income Countries". INDEPTH Network is based in Accra, Ghana. It is an important international organisation for the demographic evaluation of populations and their health in developing countries. It is a non-profit organisation that currently consists of 35 health and demographic surveillance system (HDSS) sites in 18 countries in Africa, Asia and Oceania. See INDEPTH Network's website.
