People living with physical disabilities in low-income settings
A growing number of people in low-income countries are living with physical disabilities. This is estimated to be the result of debilitating diseases and injuries from accidents or violence.
How do national governments and international aid agencies respond to the increasing burden of physical disabilities? How best to ensure the rights and the full participation of physical impaired in society? And how can Danish patient organisations, researchers and donors work strategically to improve the rights of the people living with physical disabilities in low-income countries?
These questions will be addressed in a panel discussion at the seminar organised by the Copenhagen School of Global Health, University of Copenhagen, in cooperation with Enreca Health - Danish Research Network for International Health.
The seminar will be held in English.
