Dialogue meeting on Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Health with WHO

You are hereby invited to participate in a dialogue meeting with Robert Bos, Coordinator of the Water, Sanitation, Hygiene and Health Unit at WHO, Geneva, on Monday 12th of April 10.00 - 11.30.

The aim with the meeting is to strengthen knowledge sharing and identify collaborative research and education opportunities on water and sanitation among the Danish resource base and WHO.

Robert Bos will open the meeting with a presentation of the current status and priorities within his unit at WHO, with a focus on future research documentation and training needs. Hereafter key representatives from the Danish resource base will share information about their experiences and ongoing activities within the field. On the basis of these input opportunities for future collaboration will be identified and explored further.

The meeting will take place at the University of Copenhagen (CSS, Kommunehospitalet),
Øster Farimagsgade 5, CSS 7.0.18 - in the building on your left side, when you enter the main entrance.

The meeting is co-organized by the Danish Research Network for International Health, Copenhagen School of Global Health, and the Platform on Human Health (Universities Denmark).
Robert Bos has worked for more than 29 years as a public health biologist in WHO. Since 1995 his career has evolved to cover an increasingly broad area of responsibilities in the context of water resources, water uses and human health. His focus has extended to include capacity building in health impact assessment, health dimensions of integrated water resources development, economic evaluation and burden of disease studies of water interventions for health, research and development of alternative land and water resources management methods.
