Cancelled: Ghana meeting

An increasing number of Danish researchers and research institutions are operating in Ghana within various fields of health research. Thus, the need to exchange experiences and share information on on-going activities is growing and we are therefore pleased to invite you to an informal meeting with a specific focus on development research in Ghana.

This meeting is for people involved in an on-going research project in Ghana. We would like you to prepare a short presentation of your research beforehand (maximum of 10 minutes but you are welcome to share any written material). Please share this information with any colleague that you think would be interested in contributing to this meeting.

Hopefully, the outcome of the first meeting would be a more consolidated group of Danish researchers with an interest in Ghana as well as a better knowledge of research opportunities in Ghana.

Program:
1. Welcome by Flemming Konradsen
2. Introduction of participants of own Ghana related research (max of 10 minutes)
3. Presentation of University of Copenhagen collaboration agreement with University of Ghana -Legon, Accra, ECO Lab and Denmark House by Henrik Breuning-Madsen, Professor, Institute for Geography and Geology
4. Discussion of potential areas of collaboration or systematic exchange of experiences
5. Wrap up : where to go now by Flemming Konradsen and Lise Rosendal Østergaard
6. Lunch
