Enreca Health funding of activities

The Network has limited funding for (i) participation in scientific meetings, seminars, conferences etc. and (ii) planning and organisation of new activities. If you are a researcher or directly involved in communicating research results to policy makers and development practitioners you can apply for seed funding by Enreca Health.

The Network offers partial funding of new activities initiated and organised by Network participants that contribute to the mandate of the Network, including:

• Strengthening of health research and the use of health research results;
• Promotion of research results to users of research (policy makers, NGOs, NGO-networks and private companies); and
• Exchange of experience among researchers, policy makers and development practitioners.

What kind of activities can be funded?

The Network primarily contributes with 'seed money' to new activities that receive funding from others sources as well. It is usually a precondition that some kind of self-financing (e.g. in kind) is included in the application. The activities that can be supported include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Workshop and seminars with a South perspective;
• Participation in international health related conferences;
• Involvement of South partners in activities; and
• Other activities.

How much?

The maximum amount for self-organised activities is typically 30,000 DKK and for participation in international conferences etc. 10,000 DKK.

Please note that Enreca Health does not fund overheads.

Who can apply?

All participants in Enreca Health Network can apply either individually, as a working group or as an institution.

If travels are included in the budget, please specify the person travelling.

Procedures:

Please fill out the application format and send it to the Network's Research Coordinator. The application will be discussed in a Executive Committee meeting and their decision will be communicated directly to you shortly after the meeting. 

Evaluation feedback to the Network:

If you receive funding you will be asked to report back to the Network Secretariat with a summary of lessons learned from the activity as well as suggestions for follow-up on the activity. You are kindly asked to fill out this evaluation format.

Deadline:

There are no deadlines for submission of applications.
